Bio
Clemente Garcia-Lassaulx
Painter, drawer, sculptor, engraver and art teacher.
"My involvement in the art culture of Houston has led me to develop a new method of artistic expression combining a traditional academic style with a more unique personal language. My desire to create a more interesting language within my art has resulted in a number of semi-abstract pieces"
Clemente works with different techniques like: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, ink, charcoal, pencil, spray paint, engraving, woodcut, silkscreen, transfer images, plexi glass, papier mache, spray foam, plaster, clay. He also creates: portrait, still life, landscape, caricature, cartoon, mixed media, semi abstract, contemporary, conceptual, naïve, found objects, video, photograph...etc.
He has been teaching since 1988...and continues to do so in his studio on 1214 West Gray St. Houston, Texas 77019
